The Program

HedgeyeTV interns work in a dynamic, fast-paced media environment alongside our veteran team. Each intern gets hands-on experience in a live studio setting. We are seeking proactive interns who want to develop and refine their skills. We view our interns as integral and valuable members of our team during their time with us.

Our primary goal is to help our interns gather real-world experience to apply in professional broadcast settings after graduation. Interns will be actively involved in supporting production of daily live shows and contributing to various post-production efforts.

We're looking for hard-working, curious and collaborative interns. Excellence in the classroom and extracurricular activities are qualifying attributes.

What to Expect

Over the course of your 8-week internship, you will work closely alongside members of Hedgeye's Media and Mass Market teams. You will get hands-on experience with our top-of-the-line studio cameras, lighting and editing equipment. You will get the opportunity to operate our switcher during live broadcasts. You will work on a variety of post-production projects including a final field piece project.


  • In the studio/office every day; 5 days a week from 7am - 3pm
  • Attend (3) 1-hour Teach-ins covering; operating live studio/equipment, and beginner finance instruction to expand knowledge for financial broadcast setting
  • Daily hands on work in live studio setting, assisting in production of Hedgeye's live broadcasts including; camera operation, floor managing, live switching experience, video editing projects
  • A final field piece project, you will work with a supervisor to script, shoot and edit a video conducted in the field with a stock market/economic focus and theme


  • Must be an Undergrad Junior in college to apply with a GPA 3.0 or better
  • You have strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • You have excellent oral communication and written skills
  • Must have intermediate Excel skill
  • Adaptable to work independently and as part of a team
